2023: You are not God – Ohanaeze fire Amaechi for saying Igbo cant be president

The Apex Igbo socio-political association, Ohanaeze Ndigbo on Saturday attacked the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi for saying the South East can’t deliver President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor in 2023.

Representative National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze, Chuks Ibegbu in a meeting with GISTOK said Amaechi isn’t God accordingly can’t choose the political fate of the area.

Amaechi had affirmed that the South East couldn’t interest for the administration in 2023 because the locale neglected to vote in favor of Buhari in the finished up presidential decision.

Focusing on that Igbo elites are fond of talking down the district, Ibegbu advised those influenced to cease from such act.

As per Ibegbu: “It’s sad that an Igbo man of that bore could own such an expression out in the open, it’s incredibly terrible.

“There is no Yoruba or Hausa man that would state his kin would not create president for one reason or the other. Regardless of whether we voted in favor of Buhari or not, it’s not for Amaechi to own such expression.

“It’s a significant attack on the civic pride of the Igbo individuals. Give me a chance to disclose to you it’s not for Amaechi to reveal to Igbos were to adapt politically.

“He can advise but it’s a catastrophe for him to go to the general population to own such an expression. If he isn’t content with how Igbos cast a ballot, he ought to have hushed up about it or exhorted them unobtrusively, and I’m frustrated by that announcement.

“Plus, Rotimi Amaechi isn’t God to choose the eventual political fate of anyone including the Igbos, it’s an exceptionally dishonorable, surprising of him furthermore a few Igbos voted in favor of Buhari only like a few Hausas and Yorubas did as such there is no fundamental tribalizing the political situation. It is anything but an old thing Atiku won in Oyo and Ondo States and nearly won Lagos State so is it not Yorubas that voted in favor of Atiku. In the North Atiku made a solid nearness so what will Amaechi say about the Yoruba and Hausas that voted in favor of Atiku.

“This is exceptionally shocking, and many Igbo elites are fond of doing this, censuring their kin freely. It’s miserable
