Edo operates security management information system to track crimes –Obaseki
Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has said the state currently works a Security Management Information System under its new security design codenamed: Operation Wabaizigan, to track and control wrongdoing.
Obaseki revealed this when he got the new State Director, Department of State Security (DSS), Brown Ekwoaba, at the Government House, in Benin.
He said the Security Management Information System ordinarily logs each frequency of wrongdoing in the state, which offers help for police and other security organizations to catch up on glimmer focuses.
“We take a gander at our wrongdoing data and need every security office to catch up on these violations. We need to realize how abducting issues are settled and if a criminal case is connected to another criminal case,” Obaseki said.
Ekwoaba, who guaranteed to support the current connection between the DSS and sister security organizations in battling wrongdoings, said thanks to the representative for accepting him at his office, including: “I need to guarantee you that I am here to work.”
