FCTA raid: Police speaks on alleged assault of Nigerians protesting rape of Abuja women

The FCT Police Command has responded to the revealed assault on Nigerians who assembled to challenge the strike on ladies in Abuja.

Law enforcement officers who were positioned at the habitation of FCT Minister, Mohammed Bello, had purportedly jumped on the dissidents and taped the showing to pick their appearances for abuse.

It would be reviewed that a few women indicted for oppression had described how police officers assaulted them.

The ladies were grabbed amid an attack by the specialists of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) Joint Task Team, which is included the Department of Development Control, Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) and the Social Development Secretariat (SDS).

On Sunday, ASP Danjuma Gajere Tanimu, Police Public Relations Officer, in an announcement said the two police cameramen were itemized to video the exercises at the scene of the dissent.
