Gov. Ahmed: Reason Why Kwara Must delay in paying N30, 000 new minimum wage
The Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, has indicated on deferral in executing the new the lowest pay permitted by law for laborers in the state.
Ahmed said the deferral in the arrival of the “lowest pay permitted by law format by the National Salary, Income, and Wages Commission might slow down early execution of the new N30,000 the lowest pay permitted by law for the laborers” in the state.
senator made the divulgence while talking amid the current year’s Workers’ Day festivity in Ilorin, the state capital, on Wednesday.
Spoken to by the state Head of Service, Mrs. Modupe Oluwole, the representative expressed that the lowest pay permitted by law “layout is the essential working device which the 13-man council set up by the administration would use to decide new the lowest pay permitted by law that will be executed.”
