I’m not aware of court orders, says Ganduje

The Kano state government has precluded information from claiming any court request was preventing the administration from appointing four new emirs in Kano.

A Kano High Court sitting at Ungogo on Friday allowed a request limiting senator Abdullahi Umar Ganduje from executing any activity to legitimize the new emirates of Rano, Bichi, Gaya, and Karaye.

As per the announcement, “Letters of the Notification of Appointment were composed from the workplace of the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, since Thursday ninth May 2019 and were dispatched to the concerned Emirs the next day Friday tenth May 2019, in the all-around early hours of the day.
