NAFDAC warns the public on circulation of fake Caplets in Gombe State



The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) on Thursday cautioned the general population on the course of phony Mixagrip cold Caplets in Gombe state. In an announcement issued by Prof Moji Adeyeye, Director General of NAFDAC in Abuja.

Adeyeye said that the phony medications were found amid routine reconnaissance in Gombe city.

“The medications were without the name and address of the maker; rather, it was composed made in India for Afrowell Exports Mumbai, India. “Other significant highlights going with the pack include Code No. – MH/DRUGS/MH/101063A; Batch No. – V18635; Manufacturing date – 10/2018 with Expiry date perusing 09/2021,” Adeyeye uncovered. She clarified that the certifiable item was made in Nigeria by Orange Kalbe Limited with a location at 66/68 Town Planning Way, Ilupeju, Lagos State.
