People are killed, kidnapped daily, tell Buhari Nigeria insecure – Katsina Emir to minister
The Emir of Katsina, Abdulmumini Kabir Usman has solicited the Minister from Agriculture Audu Ogbe, to educate President Muhammadu Buhari that Katsina individuals and different Nigerians are not protected because of relentless hijacking and killings.
He talked when Ogbeh and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Godwin Emefiele, visited him in front of the national propelling of dissemination of cotton seeds/contributions to ranchers for the 2019 planting season.
“Hon Minister, advise the president that we need to take prime consideration of our kin, security first. Every one of these projects, in the same class, as they are, can’t be without security. Security is first and major,” Daily Trust cited the emir as saying
“Consistently I get reports of abducting and killings from locale and town heads.”
The ruler asserted that administration authorities, legislators and rich people who are foes inside and outside government are behind the unremitting killings and seizing the nation over.
“What are you to pick up by executing, seizing individuals? It’s awful. I have not seen this sort of nation; how would we live like creatures?
“Three days prior Magajin Gari (of Daura emirate gathering) was stolen, no one is protected now, regardless of whether in your home or street, wherever you are.
“What we need you to accomplish for us is to stop the battle. Numerous individuals have left, surrendered their homesteads in dread of seizing and killings and different outrages, it’s tragic,” he said.
