Police intercept 303 cartons of Tramadol in Kano

The police in Kano State have captured 303 containers of hard medications (Tramadol tablets).

The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed Wakili, revealed this while instructions reporters in Kano on Friday.

He said the capture attempt was in continuation of the order’s push to free the condition of all types of wrongdoings, particularly hard medications (Kwaya) and inebriating substances.

Wakili said on May 17, given tip-off, an attack was directed at No 157 Miller Road Bompai, Nasarawa Local Government Area Kano, where a lab was found.

He said one Chris Metuh was captured at the area named: Ugo Lab Manufacturing Company, with 303 containers of tramadol tablets caught.

On a similar date, he said the direction additionally captured four presumed hard medications sellers for purportedly managing in medications.

Wakili said the suspects were captured with one elastic of “suck and bite the dust,” two cutlasses, a breaking execute and enormous amounts of hard medications.

He said the suspects are: Aliyu Khalid, Ibrahim Alasan, Mohammad Ahmad, and Chukwu Felix.

As per him, the examination is progressing, and the suspects would be charged to court.
