Eluke, conceived on March 25, 1967 in Eligbo, Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers, was appointed cleric on Sept. 23, 1995.

He was designated the main indigenous helper cleric of the ward and Titular Bishop of Fotice on Feb. 12 by Pope Francis.

The new minister had been the Parish Priest of St. Francis of Assisi, Rumuokwuta, since 2015 and later turned into the Diocesan Director of Vocations in 2016.
